Programmed is currently seeking Bakery production workers to join our client's manufacturing operations located in Forrestville. This is a ongoing casual position that offers flexibility while providing the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment.

About the role:

As a Bakery Production Worker, you will play an important role in the manufacture and packaging of bakery products within a fast-paced production environment. You will be responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring product quality, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting the efficient day-to-day running of the bakery. Working as part of a collaborative team, you will help ensure products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor bakery production and packaging equipment
• Assist with the preparation, processing, and packaging of bakery products
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
• Follow food safety, GMP, and hygiene requirements at all times
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Complete production documentation and records as required
• Identify and report equipment or product quality issues
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets
• Adhere to workplace health and safety procedures
• Work across day, afternoon, and night shifts as required

  What We're Looking For

• Previous experience within food manufacturing, bakery production, FMCG, or a similar production environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable transport and current driver's licence (preferred)
• Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
• Flexibility to work day, afternoon, and night shifts
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Physical capability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks
• Ability to work across day, afternoon and night shifts
